Studio of fashion design supports individual approach in expressing students ideas, which are based on their intellectual, artistic and inventions abilities. Garments are not only considered as an industrial products dependent on a trends, but as a medium with its own redeemable value too. Garment si 3D object, which express authors or wearers minds or attitude. During study students react on various themes, reflect on historical or social connection in fashion, interpret specific artwork and are looking for their own individual expression needed for mass market and for creating fashion collections. Professional lectures and information about actual situation in the world of fashion and fashion trends are contributing to this fact. Students are learning how to make a statement throughth the fashion. During the study students take a part at work interships in various fashion and design studios in Slovakia and abroad. For example Alexander McQueen in London, Studio of Lucy Orta in Paris,Sophia Kokosalaki in London, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac in Paris, A.F.Vandervost in Antwerp, Color and Trim in Volkswagen, Audi, Ford and Skoda car design studios.
The work of following designers will be presented: Katarína Štefan Fedorišinová, Andrea Pojezdálová, Lucia Švecová, Sisa Hollá, Petra Solivarská, Monika Nováková.
