Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Weekend 2013 in cooperation with the ELLE magazine announces a contest for young photographers entitled ELLE Fashion Photo Award. Promising photographers or bloggers get their chance to make their name truly famous.
We open two categories: a) fashion photographer, b) fashion blogger.
The fashion photographer category is designed for students of photography and art on the territory of the Czech Republic and Slovakia or graduates of such schools until the age of 26. The fashion blogger category has no restrictions in terms of age.
Contestants should send a comprehensive file of three to twelve photographs from the fashion areas including a brief synopsis of the concept, its name and relevant captions such as credits of the entire creative team, perhaps also a description of the styling applied. The deadline for submitting entries is August 16, 2013.
An expert jury will choose 10 finalists whose photographs will be exhibited within the accompanying programme of the Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Weekend. The winner receives a Canon camera and the opportunity to shoot an ELLE editorial in the course of the year 2014.
Members of the jury are Andrea Běhounková, Editor-in-Chief, ELLE; Olo Křížová, Art Director, Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Weekend; and photographers Tono Stano, Matúš Tóth, and Robert Vano.
